BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY STRENGTH TRAINING EXERCISE MACHINES:
The industry surrounding strength training equipment is worth billions of dollars, and I don't want you to be another unsuspecting consumer. Everything looks better when it's endorsed by a celebrity or a pretty model, but the million dollar question is "Will it work for you?" The following tips should serve as red flags when you consider strength training equipment.
If the advertisement claims that you can get results with minimal or no effort, it's time to look the other way. This is the most common way for advertisers to prey on on desperate, unsuspecting customers.
An expert endorsement does not mean the product is effective, it only means it's backed by big funding. A quality product allows the customer testimonials to speak for themselves.
Do not be impressed by a product with a a U.S. Patent. Anyone can obtain a patent with an original invention, which does not mean that the invention is effective / beneficial.
Beware of offers that say "Order now for a free bonus, which expires tonight". A good product does not rely on 'impulse' or 'urgency' marketing techniques.
Don't be impressed persuaded by scientific terms. Product manufacturers like to use fancy phrases, many of which are not accepted by the medical community in an attempt to overwhelm the consumer into buying their product.
